Creative ZEN Vision W Firmware 1.01.02 Download

This download contains an improved version of the firmware originally found on your ZEN Vision W. It improves support for Digital Rights Management (DRM) enabled tracks. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Note: Delete all DRM-enabled tracks on your player before installing the firmware. Back up the tracks from the player before deleting them and retransfer them to your player after installing the firmware.

Added features and enhancements:--Adds language support for Czech, Hungarian, Polish and Turkish.--Improves DRM-protected file transfer latency.

Fixes:--Ensures that the video aspect ratio is preserved in videos playing through the Video Out jack.--Ensures proper playback of DRM-enabled tracks under certain usage scenarios.--Turns on the player when the Play button on the wired remote is pressed and released, instead of pressed and held.--Improves support for languages other than English.

Requirements:--Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows XP (Service Pack 1 or later), or Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004 or later.--Windows Media Player 10 or later.--USB 1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended for faster transfers)--Creative ZEN Vision W.

Notes:--To install this firmware, Download the ZENVisionW_PCFW_L20_1_01_02.exe file into your local hard disk.--Connect your player to your computer.--Double-click the downloaded file and follow the instructions on the screen.
